Parke & Ronen Celebrates 20 Years
The Tenured Swimwear Designers showed a trove of looks to wear at any Beach on the Globe.
At 2:00 pm on July 12th, a day marking day 3 of New York Fashion Week: Men's and the 20th-anniversary runway show for Parke & Ronen, underwear designers Parke Lutter and Ronen Jehezkel presented a spectacular assortment of apparel for their Spring/Summer 2018 collection. Fifty delicious looks went down the runway on the most immaculate male models I have ever seen.
Nearly all of the guys were wearing satisfying strap-on sandals in varying patterns that finished off every look with perfection. Linen trousers, Cannabis print all around, as well as tank tops, jackets, polos, and t-shirts, were featured in a variety of pastel and vibrant hues. The styling of this collection was certainly something to be celebrated. Parke & Ronen gave a treasure trove of looks that could be worn on any beach around the globe.
Some chiseled men wore printed trunks with sporadic designs scattered throughout each piece. This proved a point that one can remain masculine while having fun in the sun donning colorful pieces. Wearability is key with these looks.
Expert styling of laissez-faire blue denim and chambray shirts complements colorful and printed graphic shorts with ease. Any man can be inspired by these looks to sprinkle in color throughout their wardrobes as they join the parties in Ibiza or the Amalfi Coast.
These looks emanated from them the carefree inertia of the hipster era of 2009 but with a modernized twist for 2018 and beyond. The pieces make one want to grab the sunscreen, do a few sit-ups, and planks, and book a trip to go surfing somewhere in Fiji. Any song from MGMT’s Oracular Spectacular will suffice.
