David Hart Takes a Vacation

It is clear the kind of guy Mr. Hart dresses: the life of the summer Hamptons party. Photography Courtesy of Agentry PR.

When it comes down to the art of constructing incredibly dapper clothes, Mr. David Hart never ceases to impress. For this Spring/Summer 2018 season, Mr. Hart brought his 1950s dapper gent on a luxurious vacation to the Hamptons where his only worries are deciding which cigar to pack into the jacket pocket. For the shoes -- he showcased espadrilles, Huarache sandals, and an occasional loafer just in case there was a somewhat formal event his gentleman was scheduled to attend. Whatever the occasion, the David Hart gentleman will be prepared for it in this collection.

Vintage polos, straw-fedora hats, and linen suits in the most impeccable pastel colors one can think of. Without a doubt, these smartly tailored linen suits in bright hues are the best pieces in the collection for me. A huge number of the models wore the smartest summer scarves-turned-ascots and pocket squares accompanied with cigars. It is clear the kind of guy Mr. Hart wanted to dress: the life of the summer party who likes to look good at the same time.

Picture this: It is 3 in the afternoon on some resort in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. It could also very well be Cuba where you are vacationing. Wherever you are, this uniform of a knit polo, chambray, shorts, sunglasses, and Huarache sandals is the perfect combination to sit back, relax, and enjoy the meeting of the sun, sky, and ocean.

David Hart creates classically dapper clothes for any occasion that a man (or whoever) decides to wear these clothes can look sharp. In this case, if the wearer needs to go from day to night after a day of lounging in Mexico, this blue suit, espadrille, polo, and fedora combo will not disappoint.
