KoH T Spring/Summer 2022

Hailing from Tokyo, KoH T designer Taisuke Kohji presents a sultry mix of pristine pieces that have been specially hand-dyed naturally to contribute to his overall relaxed workwear aesthetic. The collection, entitled “Mindful Comfy Trip” is inspired by a variety of vacations that were enjoyed by Kohji, including certain pieces of pottery that were acquired while traveling and landscapes, which both align with the central theme of compassion found in the everyday.

One can certainly tell that whoever wears these clothes aligns directly with the concepts of minimalism, mindfulness, intentional craftsmanship, having compassion for all beings in nature, and doing things correctly the first time.

There are a few items such as a trench and a chore coat that feature what seems to be intentional splotches of black paint which are splattered infrequently throughout. There is also a pale pink blazer harnessing a tie at the waist where a button should be. Straw bucket hats with and without fringe and snap-pouch necklaces are sprinkled throughout the collection. →
