As I viewed the photographs of the collection, I easily pictured myself placing bouquets of baby’s breath flowers in abstract vases mixed with candles, champagne flutes, and round speakers on the various table heights. Whether one is admiring a space or simply creating a memory, this collection will make one feel grounded in its presence. As the brand’s official press states, “Through crafting from repurposed matter, what's left is turned into designs that are emblematic of a luxury made of details. The generative method of Sfrido Estate is revolutionary, creating cut-to-size projects and breathing new life into deadstock, transforming them into new forms and objects.” Warm tones and sanded smooth edges of euro marble originate from distinct slabs and have their own unique story to tell.
It was a joy to see the delicate but herculean chess pieces. I wanted the entire game board. The various tones of green and black chess army pieces could be admired and treasured on my leather ottoman tray at home. The Sfrido Estate Museum Table series by A617 showcases a varying depth and grounding within the stones throughout each layer.
